The Body Speaks: Finding your Authentic Sensual Voice

When it comes to sensual writing, your mind is not your friend. There are volumes the body would speak — if only the mind that censors and filters every thought would stand aside.

This workshop is designed to free your body from your mind — and channel that liberated voice directly onto the page.

Co-led by two highly-trained facilitators, Monica Day and Michele Younger, you will meet and explore this authentic sensual voice in a safe space. Sessions of physical movement and active meditation will be alternated with writing sessions. Emotional release, tantric breathwork, and other sensual practices will be the doorway to this deeper sensual place…the written word will give it it’s freedom.

Course Leaders:

 Monica Day is founder of The Sensual Life, and hosts Living The Sensual Life: An Evening of Erotic Open Mic, a regular event of erotic performance and expression in Manhattan, and is a frequent guest of Philadelphia’s Erotic Literary Salon. She has spent the last 18 years as a writer, coach, trainer and facilitator in areas ranging from personal growth and awareness, sensuality and sexuality, communication skills, and relationship dynamics. She holds a degree in Creative Writing from Mills College, and uses writing as an integral tool for freedom and personal transformation in her courses and retreats, coaching, events and private gatherings, and in everyday life. She is committed to creating safe spaces for others to explore, experience and express their sensuality more fully.

Michele Younger is uniquely trained in a number of healing and transformational techniques – from Tantra to emotional release to massage and specialized bodywork, and is also a licensed massage therapist and health care provider.  Her experience and powerful coaching skills come from many years of training and study of very diverse disciplines and philosophies. She has developed her own personal transformation course “Clear & Present Power: The Art of Intentional Living” and has also held leadership positions for Butterfly Workshops, Landmark Education, and Vision Force. Michele brings a unique blend of fun, compassion, authenticity, and straight talk to her coaching and course leadership.
